Black Gallery

The Black Gallery presents exclusively works on paper: paintings, drawings, pastels, watercolours and engravings. In order to preserve them preventively, the Black Gallery is only lit in the presence of the visitor. Light exposure is measured in "lux", the works are dimly lit (less than 50 lux). They are only exhibited for a period of six months, after which they are returned to storage in special packaging. Variations in temperature and air humidity can also make the works fragile. The exhibition spaces are therefore kept at 20°C, with a relative humidity of 50%.
