02.06.2017 > 17.09.2017: John Cockerill, 200 years of future

“John Cockerill, 200 years of future” looks back at the saga of the industrial revolution in Wallonia. The exhibition represents a journey through inventions which marked history, urban, sociological, demographic and environmental challenges, and also looks at the men and women who took them up.

A meeting with John Cockerill, an interactive map of the evolution of the landscape of the region through the eras, immersion in the mythical T12 locomotive, a look at what made the industry of yesterday and today so famous, and what will do so in the future… There are so many ways in which visitors can delve right into these 200 years of industrial adventure and discover this outstanding heritage.

Designed to be an experience to be lived, the exhibition gathers together a rich legacy of technical objects, through images and memory. It also makes great use of tools which enable the visitor to interact, question, experiment: maps, games, projections, 3D reconstitutions…

To visit the “John Cockerill, 200 years of future” exhibition is to take a look at the past in order to better prepare for the future.
