Discover the various networks between the cities covering specific themes.

With the aim of contributing to necessary solidarity between the "North" and the "South", the City of Liège is active in decentralised cooperation projects, i.e. cooperation between local partners, from city to city.

The actions undertaken with our partner have made it possible to obtain concrete results. In budgetary terms, this amounts to 161,000 euros and in terms of mobilising personnel, two agents are in charge of this scheme.

The City of Liège has participated in improving the administrative resources of social services in two districts of Tangier in 2009.

The Interreg IIIB North West Europe "HST Connect" (High Speed Trains) project lasted for 5 years. It benefited from FEDER subsidies amounting to approximately 23,000.000 euros.

The Interreg IVB North West Europe "BAPTS" project aims to promote advanced public transport systems. It includes 9 partners from 6 countries.

The "Climate Active Neighbourhoods" project (2016 – 2019) is a European project financed as part of the Interreg V B North West Europe programme.

The High Speed Trains Connect project aims to establish better inter-connection between the "high-speed" and "secondary" rail networks. The Boosting Advanced Public Transport Systems (BAPTS) is a project intended to promote advanced public transport systems.
